25 Oct Business insolvencies predicted to rise after Govt support dries up
Latest forecasts tend to suggest that business insolvencies are likely to reach a high in the next 12 months. Businesses actually did better than expected last year, as financial support from the Government helped many of them through a challenging year.
That support, grants and business loans have largely dried up now and businesses are struggling to make ends meet, with more and more late payments and outstanding debts mounting up.
It is very important to keep your cashflow liquid and therefore ensure all bills are paid and collected on time. One of the biggest causes of business insolvency is late payment of business debts.
